OUR HISTORY
Race Winning Brands Canada started as Wiseco Piston Canada, a high-performance motorsports piston distribution company for Canada. In 1998 The Dover Corporation acquired Wiseco Pistons, followed by ProX Racing parts and shortly after that JE Pistons. With this small group of companies, a platform Performance Motorsports Inc. (PMI) and Performance Motorsports Canada (PMC) was founded. Through the years many brands have been added to the group. In order to improve the service and execute a one-stop-shop strategy, PMI and PMC continued adding many more “external brands”. Mostly from the USA. In early 2017 PMI and PMC was acquired by a new Private Equity group and as a result the name was changed to Race Winning Brands Canada. Under the new private equity umbrella a significant amount of brands have since been added to our portfolio. Resulting in both strengthening our brand portfolio as well as our expertise even more.
Today
Through the years we have been adding many new brands to our portfolio, elevating our product range and expertise in both the Powersports and Automotive segments. Today, we have a total of around 20 internal and external brands, supporting thousands of applications.
Having direct access to data and systems from our brand factories around the world we can provide knowledgeable, reliable and fast service to the Canadian market. Furthermore, we leverage on our strong and reputable brands to gain local market knowledge and by maintaining close contact with our many happy customers.

Our product portfolio is extensive. At RWBC, we do not only provide the majority of the material required for building a race engine, but we also provide many of the parts for outside the engine as well. Think engine management, Exhaust and Transmission components. With ProX Racing Parts, in the Powersports segment, this goes even further with high wear and tear items like brake components and filters. We supply parts for both the enthusiast level up to the professional racer and for both the Automotive and Powersports segment.

At Race Winning Brands (RWB), we are passionate about racing and performance, but we are also passionate about giving back to the community and supporting worthy causes. We believe that as a leading manufacturer of racing and high-performance parts for the automotive and powersports markets, we have a responsibility to make a positive impact in the world. That’s why we’ve initiated several charity programs that demonstrate our commitment to helping others. Here are two examples of how we are making a difference:
- The Pink Piston Project: This is our initiative to raise funds and awareness for cancer research and support through partnership with the American Cancer Society (ACS). Offering the chance to win amazing prizes from our piston brands, patrons have donated directly to the ACS through a Pink Piston Project donation page. Additional funds have been raised for the ACS through Pink Piston Project t-shirt sales through RWB, along with donating a portion of our piston sales overall. This fight has affected far too many and we believe that the racing community can help power the cure.
- Garage Buddy Give Back: Garage Buddy is Wiseco’s line of quality, convenient rebuild kits for powersports, including complete engine rebuild kits that help save time and money. These kits may be a buddy for your rebuild, but we know many like us have a pet in the house or at the track with us that’s part of the family. We created the Garage Buddy Give Back program to donate a portion of the sales of Garage Buddy kits to animals in need – we even include a bandana in the box for your furry friend! We’ve already donated over $5,000 to Fido’s Companion, and we hope to donate much more! Help us in getting every animal the loving home and healthy life they deserve.
